Poinsett County, AR : Man killed in head-on crash on I-555 near Tulot on Thursday evening, October 20, 2016

A Marked Tree man died in a crash on Interstate 555 Thursday evening.

According to an Arkansas State Police preliminary crash report, the crash happened just before 7 p.m. on I-555 south of Trumann, near Tulot.

The report states 87-year-old William H. Clem of Trumann was driving south in the northbound lane.

Clem hit a truck head-on.

The driver of the truck, 60-year-old Rickey Lynn Hardin of Marked tree, died at the scene of the crash.

Clem was taken to St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro for his injuries.
