One person was seriously hurt and Route 149 in West Fort Ann was closed for more than two hours Monday because of a three-vehicle crash.
The crash was reportedly shortly before 10 a.m. between Tripoli and Pattens Mills roads.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office said Hillary E. Stark, 30, of Whitehall, was headed east in a 2012 Nissan when her vehicle sideswiped a westbound pickup truck driven by a Connecticut man, then hit a westbound GMC pickup head-on.
Stark was taken to Albany Medical Center via helicopter for treatment of serious leg injuries. The occupants of the GMC pickup, David M. Thomas, 59, and Kimberly J. Thomas, 64, both of East Greenbush, were taken to Glens Falls Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The road was closed at Buttermilk Falls Road and Pattens Mills Road in West Fort Ann. Firefighters had to extricate Stark from her vehicle.
The road re-opened around 12:15 p.m. Winchell said the investigation was ongoing later Monday.
