Hopkinton ,MA ;53-year-old Marcel Masse struck and killed after Crash along I-495 on Tuesday morning ,September 8th 20

A Lancaster man was killed in crash on I-495 in Hopkinton, Massachusetts on Tuesday morning.

Police said 53-year-old Marcel Masse struck the back of a truck on the northbound side of the highway just after 6:00 a.m.

Masses was trapped in the Volkswagen Jetta he was driving. The Hopkinton Fire Department was able to extricate him and transport him to a hospital where he later died.

Massachusetts State Police said the truck was traveling at a slow speed when it was struck. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
