RUSHVILLE, IL : 3 children and 2 adults killed in crash involving school bus on Monday, 11th March 2024

Three children and two adults were killed Monday in a crash involving a school bus and semitruck, according to Illinois State Police.

Police said the crash happened at 11:36 a.m. on U.S. Route 24 at Parkview Road in Schuyler County.

The Schuyler-Industry bus was traveling west on U.S. Route 24 and crossed over into the eastbound lane for an unknown reason before hitting the semitruck, which was carrying sand, police said.
