THE BRONX, NY : 1 killed in crash on Major Deegan Expressway on Sunday, 13th August 2023

One driver was killed and another critically injured in a multi-car crash early Sunday that spanned both the northbound and southbound lanes of the Major Deegan Expressway, officials said.

The NYPD’s Highway Collision Investigation Squad said the crash happened around 4:15 a.m. A Honda Accord was disabled in the left lane after it lost control on wet roads and struck a wall, authorities said.
