San Juan, CA : Salinas man killed in crash on Highway 101 in San Benito County on Friday morning, July 15, 2016

A Salinas man died in a fatal car crash on Highway 101 in San Benito County on Friday morning, according to the local coroner's office.

The Gilroy/Hollister office of the California Highway Patrol responded to the crash north of San Juan Road. The San Benito County Sheriff's Office acts as the coroner and identified the victim as Martin H. Conese, Jr., 64., after notifying next of kin.
