Gainesville,TX : Motorcycle rider flown to hospital after crash on June, Tuesday 13th 2017
A 78-year-old Gainesville man was taken by helicopter to a Plano hospital after he was thrown from a motorcycle Tuesday afternoon while riding in the 500 block of North Grand Avenue.
According to a report from the Gainesville Police Department, David Parton was riding a black 1982 Kawasaki motorcycle when the bike was struck by a southbound car driven by 82-year-old Betty Muller.
Muller’s vehicle went on to hit a 2008 Chrysler vehicle driven by 19-year-old Paloma Palomo and an 18-wheeler driven by 54-year-old Melvin Thompson of Dallas before stopping in the 300 block of North Grand Avenue.
Palomo and Thompson were uninjured, according to the report, and Muller was taken to North Texas Medical Center for treatment.
The cause of the wrecks is still under investigation.
