Orlando, FL : Man, 48, dead after Lake County crash on April, Tuesday 11th 2017

A 448-year-old Chuluota man died Tuesday after a single-vehicle crash in Lake County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Robert Bussart was driving south on Florida’s Turnpike in the outside lane about 12:25 p.m. when, “for an unknown reason,” he drifted onto the grass shoulder of the road, FHP spokesman Steven Montiero said.

Bussart then overcorrected, which caused him to drive across both of the southbound lanes, Montiero said. The left side of his 1998 Chevy Blazer ultimately sideswiped a guardrail and the vehicle crashed.

Bussart was taken to an area hospital for treatment, Montiero said. He later died.

Troopers continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
