Kewaunee, WI : 84-year-old woman killed while crossing street in Kewaunee County on Tuesday, December 23, 2014

An 84-year-old woman was killed when she was struck by a car as she was crossing a street near Kewaunee.

Kewaunee County Sheriff Matt Joski said the accident happened around 5:40 a.m. Tuesday. He said the 42-year-old driver of the car said he didn't see the woman.

Joski told he doesn't expect charges to be filed.

The name of the victim has not been released.
