HICKORY, NC : Hickory driver killed in collision with tree PD on Monday, 4th March 2024

A driver is dead after their vehicle ran off the road and collided with a tree, Hickory Police said on Monday.

Officers responded to calls regarding the incident around 11:25 a.m. Monday on Highway 127 southbound near 3rd Ave. Roberta Long, 83, of Hickory, was found suffering from injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
