SCOTT COUNTY, MO : Altenburg man dies after motorcycle crash in Scott County on Saturday, 18th November 2023

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a man who was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in Scott County Saturday afternoon has died.

The crash happened around 3:10 p.m. on Nov.18, just two miles east of Chaffee, Mo.

MSHP said 51-year-old Douglas B. Murakami was driving a 2022 Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle westbound on Route A. His vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway and hit a tree, before it overturned and hit a parked vehicle.

Murakami was flown to a Cape Girardeau hospital with serious injuries.
