Bonita, FL : 35-year-old Bonita Springs man killed in a crash on Pennsylvania Avenue in Bonita on Saturday evening, April 11, 2015

A Bonita Springs man was killed Saturday night when the scooter he was riding on was struck by a hit-and-run driver.

Zahary Ryan Lamure, 35, of Donegal Drive, was westbound on Pennsylvania Avenue around 8:35 p.m. when his scooter was struck from behind by a 2002 Ford Fusion near the intersection of Johnson Street.

The driver of the Ford, who deputies have not named yet, left the scene. The car was located a short time later.

Lamure was pronounced dead at the scene.
