Edison, NJ : One dead in Edison Turnpike accident on Monday, June 20, 2016

A man was pronounced dead at the scene of a truck collision Monday on the New Jersey Turnpike, Sgt. First Class Gregory Williams of the New Jersey State Police said.

The crash, involving a box truck and a tractor trailer, occurred around 6:26 p.m. on the outer roadway northbound, Williams said. Two other people were taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

No other information was immediately available Monday night. A portion of the roadway was possibly expected to be closed as the accident investigation continued Monday night, Williams also said.
