Monett, MO : Two people injured in two-car collision on westbound Interstate 44, on Tuesday 4 October 2016
Two people were injured Tuesday in a two-car collision on westbound Interstate 44, half a mile east of Halltown.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Thomas Brimhall, 82, of Olive Branch, Miss., was driving a 2012 Dodge Ram pickup westbound when his slower-moving vehicle was struck from behind by a 2012 Volvo Conventional TTL, being driven by Tigeran Avetisyan, 42, of North Hollywood, Calif.
A passenger in Avetisyan's vehicle, Angel Brimhall, 21,of Olive Branch, Miss., suffered moderate injuries. Thomas Brimhall suffered minor injuries. Both were transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
All involved were wearing safety devices, and both vehicles suffered extensive damage.
