New Haven, IN : 52-year-old Fort Wayne man dead in a single-car crash on Sunday August 17th 2014

A man killed in a single-vehicle crash in New Haven early Sunday has been identified as a 52-year-old Fort Wayne man. Arthur J. Hoffman was already dead when police found his Pontiac four-door off the side of the road at Interstate 469 and Indiana 930 just after 5 a.m. On Monday, the Allen County coroner ruled that Hoffman, who was not wearing a seat belt, died from blunt-force trauma and that the manner of his death was an accident. Hoffman’s death is the 16th traffic fatality in the county this year, according to the coroner’s office. It’s unclear what happened that led to Hoffman’s car going off the road, but the case is under investigation. Source : Single-car crash kills Fort Wayne man
