Wareham, MA : Early morning crash in Wareham leaves 1 dead on Thursday, 29th November 2018

An early morning crash in Wareham has left one dead, with troopers finding the vehicle fully engulfed in flames on Route 25 around 3 a.m. Thursday, according to the Massachusetts State Police.

Officers responded to the crash after receiving reports of the fire, and located the car on the eastbound side of the highway just prior to Exit 2, police said. There, the vehicle was found in the median strip against a tree.

After firefighters extinguished the flames, police said they located the body of the victim inside of the vehicle. Their identity is not known at this time.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
