Edgewater, FL :Motorcyclist killed in crash in Edgewater on Friday morning, October 17, 2014

A motorcyclist was killed in crash early Friday morning in Volusia County. The Edgewater Police Department says around 1:41 a.m. officers responded to a motorcycle crash near the intersection of S. Riverside Drive and E. Connecticut Avenue. Investigators say the motorcycle driven by Joseph C. Dunaway, 64, Edgewater, was traveling south on S. Riverside Drive and left the roadway near the intersection and struck a tree on the east shoulder of S. Riverside Drive. Dunaway was pronounced dead at the scene.
