Panama City, FL : 19-year-old dead after ATV collision on Friday

Dustin Douglas Manning, 19, of Ponce de Leon, was killed Friday night when the all-terrain vehicle he was riding was struck by a car, according to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
Wesley T. Floyd, 33, of Ponce de Leon, was traveling west on County 183 South, in a 2003 Ford Mustang, approaching the intersection with Floyd Jasper Road in Walton County, according to a WCSO news release. A second ATV was towing Manning’s ATV south on Floyd Jasper Road approaching County 183. It continued across the highway’s westbound lane, where Floyd’s vehicle struck Manning’s with its front, ejecting Manning.
Manning’s ATV came to rest on the south shoulder of County 183, while the Mustang struck the guardrail on the south shoulder and traveled down the embankment, coming to rest in the ditch.
Two other ATV operators were uninjured, according to WCSO. Floyd and his passenger, Heather Ann Mitchell, 29, also of Ponce de Leon, also were uninjured.
