Moscow, ID : Semi-vehicle wreck on U.S. 195 injures one on April, Monday 10th 2017
A collision between a pickup and a semitrailer at about 1 p.m. Monday fully blocked U.S. Highway 195 about 5 miles north of Colfax.
According to a media release from the Washington Sate Patrol, Christopher Dewolf, 27, of Athol, Idaho, was driving northbound in a semi-trailer when he swerved across the center lane to avoid colliding with a vehicle stopped in a turn lane. The semi then struck the ditch on the opposite side of the roadway, where a 2013 Toyota Tundra, driven by 76-year-old Paul Bilderback, of Colfax, collided with the trailer of the semi.
Bilderback was transported to Whitman Community Hospital with undisclosed injuries, while Dewolf was uninjured.
