WILLIAMSBURG, VA : Driver in hospital after car crashes into Willamsburg on Monday, 22nd October 2018
A male car driver was sent to the hospital Monday night with non-life threatening injuries when he veered off the road, struck a guard rail and street sign, before crashing into the porch of a residence near the Beaver Brook Country Club.
The Williamsburg Fire Department and the Highland Ambulance service responded to the crash at about 11:30 p.m. The driver has not been identified by police or fire officials as of Wednesday morning.
Fire officials said the driver was able to get out of the car himself before being transported to Cooley Dickinson Hospital by the ambulance service.
