St. Cloud, MN : Six people injured after a collision in St. Cloud on Wednesday, May 18, 2016

Six people were taken to the hospital on Wednesday after a collision in St. Cloud, according to a release from the St. Cloud Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision at 1:38 p.m. on Wednesday at Ninth Avenue North and Northway Drive.

According to the release, a pick-up driven by Keith Krueger, 41, of Rice, was southbound on Ninth Avenue North attempting to cross the intersection at Northway Drive. Krueger's vehicle collided with a van driven by Joshua Engel, 32, of New Munich, who was northbound on Ninth Avenue North and attempting to turn left onto Northway Drive.

The release said investigation showed Engel failed to yield the right of way to Krueger's vehicle.

Krueger reported minor injuries, but was not transported to the hospital, according to the release. Engel, along with passengers Ashley Marthaler, 22, Shelby Marthaler, 21, Tonya Anderson, 39, Conner Russell Wessmann, 3, and Carley Jean Anderson, 17, were transported to St. Cloud Hospital for minor injuries.
