GRISWOLD, CT : 78-year-old woman struck, killed by driver in Griswold on Thursday, 29th August 2024

A deadly crash occurred on Thursday in Griswold.

Just before 4 p.m., a vehicle struck a pedestrian near the intersection of Main and Ashland Streets.

The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was later pronounced deceased.

Police have identified her as Bernice LaRochelle, 78, of Lisbon, Conn.
