Aspinwall, PA : Traffic flowing again after crash on I-79 north near Wexford on Friday, 6th April 2018

Traffic is flowing again after an accident on Interstate 79 northbound between Exit 73 and Exit 75.

PennDOT 511 confirmed the incident around 6:15 p.m.

Traffic was backed up for just over an hour. The accident was cleared around 7:30 p.m.

A PennDOT traffic camera showed multiple emergency vehicles blocking the passing lane in that area just after the accident. The camera showed the lane was clear around 8:15 p.m.

An Allegheny County 911 dispatcher said a call came in for an incident in that area around 6:10 p.m., but wouldn't confirm what kind of incident it was.

No other information was immediately available.
