LOS ANGELES, CA : 2 passengers killed when car bursts into flames in LA crash on Sunday, 16th October 2016

Los Angeles police say two passengers were killed when an Audi sedan went through a red light, hit another vehicle, then crashed into a utility pole and burst into flames.

Officer Jenny Houser said Sunday that one person was detained for questioning following the crash in the Koreatown area.

Houser says the impact with the pole caused the Audi to catch fire. Two 25-year-old male passengers died at the scene.

Two other people were hospitalized in unknown condition.

Houser did not immediately have information about the person being questioned.
