Hyden ,AL : Lashunda Patrice Wells, 38, killed in car crash on Wednesday afternoon,July 1st 2015

A car crash on I-65 killed a Tuscaloosa woman two miles south of Hayden Wednesday afternoon, authorities say.

Lashunda Patrice Wells, 38, was killed when her car collided with a tractor-trailer at 2:30 p.m. near mile marker 283 on I-65 South. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a press release from the Alabama State Troopers.

Rick Griesbach, the 56-year-old Wisconsin native driving the tractor-trailer, was not injured in the accident.
