MARYVILLE, MO : 6-year-old dies in crash on Old U.S. Highway 69 a half-mile south of his hometown on Monday, 20th August 2018

Six-year-old William Straughn of Grant City in Worth County was killed night in a one-vehicle accident on Old U.S. Highway 69 a half-mile south of his hometown.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, William’s mother, Sudeana L. Reno, 28, Grant City, was southbound in a 2002 Ford Explorer when she lost control on a curve while driving over gravel. The vehicle overturned.
