Service Scheduled For Soldier Killed Here In Motorcycle Crash in Londonderry New Hampshire

A funeral service will be heldlater this week in New Hampshire for Fort Hood Cpl. Tyler Pimpis, 22, who died Wednesday in Killeen when his motorcycle slammed into the rear of a pickup.Pimpis was riding a motorcycle at what police said was a high rate of speed when the bike slammed into the pickup Wednesday night in the 2800 block of Trimmier Road.Pimpis was northbound on Trimmier when the driver of the southbound pickup attempted to turn east into a parking lot.The Honda motorcycle struck the front right driver’s side of the pickup and Pimpis was thrown from the bike.Pimpis, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.Pimpis, of Londonderry, N.H., was a 2009 graduate of Londonderry High School, where he was a member of the varsity lacrosse and football teams.
