AMBERLEY VILLAGE, OH : 1 dead, 1 critically hurt in wrong-way, head-on crash that closed Ronald Reagan Hwy on Sunday, 2nd June 2024

One driver is dead and another is critically hurt in a wrong-way, head-on crash that shut down Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway overnight, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.

It was reported in Amberley Village near the Ridge Avenue exit at 1:06 a.m. Sunday.

A 2008 Toyota Camry traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes collided head-on with a westbound 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, trapping both drivers, sheriff’s officials said in a prepared statement.

Due to the severity of the crash, fire departments from Reading, Blue Ash and Cincinnati responded to extricate both drivers.
