Hutchinson, KS : Nine-year-old injured in Ellsworth County accident on Saturday morning, July 23, 2016

Nine-year-old Samuel Grayson Harting, of Olathe, was transported to Ellsworth County Medical Center on Saturday morning, when a truck she was traveling in - driven by Matthew Harting, 44, of Olathe - struck a culvert on Interstate Highway 70, just west of 12th Road.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol crash log, Matthew Harding was traveling westbound on I-70 in the right-hand lane, when this truck left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a culvert on the right side of the road.

Passengers Katherine Harting, 39, Benjamin Harting, 6, and Lucas Harting, 6, all of Olathe, were not injured.

Samuel was treated and released Saturday afternoon, a hospital spokesman said.
