PARIS, MO : Moberly woman injured in Monday crash near Paris on Monday, 22nd August, 2016

A 24-year-old Moberly, Mo., woman suffered moderate injuries in a single-vehicle crash Monday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Kayla R. Chandler was trying to reach for an item on the floor of her 2003 Toyota Corolla while heading west on Mo. 154 six miles east of Paris, when the car traveled off the right side of the road. Chandler overcorrected, and the car struck a guardrail on the left side of the road about 4 p.m.

Chandler was taken by Monroe County Ambulance to Moberly Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Also assisting was the Monroe County Sheriff's Department.
