One student was taken to a local hospital when a vehicle collided into a school bus in Seminole County Monday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred roughly at 8:50 a.m. at the intersection of State Road 46 and International Parkway in Sanford, when a pickup truck crashed into the bus, FHP Sgt. Kim Montes said.

The bus was carrying 40 students, Montes said.

One of the students was taken to Central Florida Regional Hospital with possible injuries, she said.

The road was blocked during the crash cleanup.
