BOSTON, MA : Bicyclist killed by cement truck in crash identified as 69-year-old woman on Brookline Avenue at Park Drive on Friday, 15th February 2019

A bicyclist that was seriously injured when she was hit by a cement truck in Boston Friday has died, state police said.

The incident happened on Brookline Avenue at Park Drive at about 1:30 p.m., state police said.According to police, the cement truck was stopped at a traffic light on Brookline Avenue. When the light turned green, the truck started to move forward.

Police said the bicyclist, identified as Paula Sharaga, 69, of Cambridge, was riding in the intersection and came into contact with the front end of the truck.

Investigators said the sequence of events leading up the collision remain under investigation.
