Two people were injured in a head-on collision Thursday in Blair.

Blair police and Blair Rescue responded to the crash at approximately 1:55 p.m. at the intersection of North 19th and Wright streets.

According to a police report, a black 1997 Pontiac Grand Am, driven by Steven Jordan, 35, Blair, was southbound on North 19th Street when a silver 2003 Oldsmobile Alero, driven by Andrew Sorensen, 16, Blair, attempted to turn left onto Wright Street. The Alero struck the Grand Am head on.

Both vehicles were totaled. Air bags deployed in both vehicles. All occupants were wearing seat belts.

Sorensen and passenger Zach Grossoehme, 16, Blair, who sustained visible minor injuries, were transported by their parents to Memorial Community Hospital & Health System. Jordan refused treatment.

Sorensen was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
