Orlando, FL : Driver killed in single-vehicle crash in Lake County on Thursday, 28th June 2018

The driver killed in a single-vehicle crash in Lake County on Wednesday night has been identified as 47-year-old Jason Chojnowski, the Florida Highway Patrol said Thursday.

The crash happened about 5:30 p.m. on Villa City Road near U.S. Highway 27 north of Groveland, said FHP Lt. Kim Montes, an FHP spokeswoman. Chojnowski, of Groveland, was driving southbound when his 2017 Chevrolet Camaro left the roadway, struck a fence and a telephone pole and overturned.

Chojnowski was pronounced dead at the scene.
