TURLOCK, CA : 1 dead, 2 injured after wrong-way crash on northbound Highway 99 in Turlock on Tuesday, 20th June 2023

One person is dead and two people were taken to hospitals Tuesday after a crash on northbound Highway 99 in Turlock, according to California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 3:20 a.m. just north of Lander Avenue.

Based on the initial investigation, CHP said a white sedan was driving the wrong way on northbound Highway 99. A Tesla was driving along northbound Highway 99 and the two cars collided. The white sedan caught fire after the collision.
