Summerhill, NY : Man killed in a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV on Lake Como Road in Cayuga County on Tuesday, May 24, 2016

The Cayuga County Sheriff's Office has released the names of the drivers involved in a fatal crash Tuesday near Moravia.

The accident occurred at around 2:30 p.m. on Lake Como Road at the intersections of Eation and Fillmore Roads in the Town of Summerhill.

Authorities say a 2012 Subaru SUV driven by Jane E. Brown, 33, of Locke, was heading northbound on Lake Como Road and attempted to turn left onto Fillmore Road when it collided with a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by Jeremy R. Parsons, 28, of Groton.

Parsons was pronounced dead at the scene. Brown wasn't hurt in the crash.

The sheriff's office said traffic charges are pending.

The Cayuga County Sheriff's Office is handling the investigation with assistance from the New York State Police. Initial responders also included the Homer Fire Department and Four Town Ambulance.
