One Motorcyclist killed in 5 Freeway crash Near Los Feliz California

Authorities Friday identified a motorcyclist killed in a crash on a Golden State (5) Freeway on-ramp in Los Feliz.The crash happened on the Los Feliz Boulevard transition to the northbound 5, said California Highway Patrol Officer Francisco Villalobos. It was reported at 9:48 p.m. Thursday, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.Joshua Wright, 40, of Burbank died at the scene, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
Several vehicles stopped, but it was unclear if they were involved in the wreck, Villalobos said.
The crash prompted the closure of the eastbound and westbound Los Feliz Boulevard on-ramps to the northbound Golden State Freeway, according to the CHP. They were reopened shortly after 1 a.m., according to the CHP.
