Waukesha, WI : Two people injured after a serious crash near State Highway 83 on Saturday night, March 19, 2016

Two people were taken to the hospital after a serious crash on I-43 southbound near State Highway 83 on Saturday night.

Their vehicle was discovered in a ditch by a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper around 7:40 p.m.

The passenger was unconscious while the driver was awake but hurt. Both were taken to Froedtert Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

Officials don't know if alcohol or drugs were involved.

An investigation is ongoing.
