A Verona man was killed early Sunday in a two-car crash in Penn Hills.
A car crossed the center line and collided with another car near Allegheny River Boulevard and Sandy Creek Road, Penn Hills police Chief Howard Burton said.
The car that was struck was driven by Charles Bonavita, 77, who was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:42 a.m., according to a supervisor at the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office.
Officials haven't released the condition or identity of the other driver.
Allegheny County homicide detectives are investigating the crash.
