Detroit, MI : One killed, Two hurt in crash involving semi-truck at the intersection of Oakland Street and Hollbrook Street in Detroit on Tuesday night, July 15, 2014

Three people were injured Tuesday night in a crash with a semi-truck at the intersection of Oakland Street and Hollbrook Street in Detroit.

Officials said a 14-year-old boy was killed and a 12-year-old is in critical condition after the 45-year-old driver ran a red light.

Witnesses told police the three were pinned in the car and that some people came together to try to pull them out and administer CPR.

No other details were immediately released.
