LYNCHBURG, VA : 1 killed another injured in Lynchburg three-vehicle-crash on Sunday, 24th September 2023

The Lynchburg Police Department is investigating a three-vehicle-crash that killed a woman and injured another driver.

Police and the Lynchburg Fire Department responded to reports of a crash at 2:24 p.m. Sunday at the 700 block of Leesville Road.

On scene, responders noticed one driver, an 86-year-old woman from Lynchburg, had died.

According to police, another driver was transported to Lynchburg General Hospital.
