Jacksonville, FL : Three people injured in car crash at the U.S. Highway 90 entrance ramp on Monday, February 29, 2016

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that injured three people.

The crash happened at 12:40 a.m. Monday at the U.S. Highway 90 entrance ramp to I-95 North. According to troopers, a Nissan failed to stay in the lane when approaching the entrance ramp. The car crashed into the crash attenuator, ejecting one of the passengers and coming to a stop. FHP says the passenger was not wearing a seatbelt.

The driver and two of the passengers were taken to the hospital. Troopers say the driver and the passenger that was ejected from the car suffered critical injuries. FHP has not released their names, but troopers say they are both male and the driver is 45-years-old.

According to FHP, the second passenger, Eber Ramos, 33, suffered minor injuries.
