ENFIELD, CT : Deadly crash closes I-91 south in Enfield on Tuesday, 7th May 2024

A portion of Interstate 91 southbound is closed in Enfield Tuesday evening because of a deadly crash, according to officials.

State police confirmed to Eyewitness News that one person died in the crash. The person was identified as 39-year-old TJ Jennings of New York.

State police say that Jennings was out of his vehicle in the right lane and was struck by a vehicle. He was pronounced dead on scene.
