One Dead after Motorcycle Crash in Champaign Illinois

One person is dead after a motorcycle and van crash on I-74.According to Illinois State Police, the driver of the motorcycle improperly changed lanes near the University Ave. exit. The van tried to brake but was unable to avoid hitting the motorcycle.
The drive of the motorcycle was not wearing a helmet. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released his name.
