KERSHAW COUNTY, SC : A two-vehicle collision in Midlands traffic collision on Tuesday, October, 24th 2017
A two-vehicle collision on Monday resulted in the death of a 2-year-old, according to online reports.
At 6:15 p.m. Monday, the driver of a 2006 Chrysler disregarded a stop sign on Robinson Town Road as she drove through the intersection with Old Georgetown Road, and was struck in the driver’s side of the vehicle by a tractor trailer, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol trooper David Jones.
The woman, who was wearing a seat belt, and a rear-seat passenger were injured in the collision and taken to an area hospital, Jones said.
The rear-seat passenger succumbed to injuries suffered in the collision and died at the hospital, according to Jones.
