Odessa, TX : A 61-year-old Odessan suffered serious injuries on April, Tuesday 25th 2017

A 61-year-old Odessan suffered serious injuries Tuesday during a head-on collision that occurred at Kermit Highway and West County Road.
The motorist, identified by the Odessa Police Department as Frank Sprohar, was taken to Medical Center Hospital following the collision that was reported shortly after 6:30 a.m., Odessa Fire Battalion Chief Pat Land said.
Sprohar’s injuries were non-life threatening, OPD spokesman Cpl. Steve LeSueur said. Sprohar was listed in serious condition, MCH spokeswoman Rhonda Lewallen said.
The events that led up to the collision were still under investigation, but LeSueur said Sprohar was driving a Kia Rio and that Julian Reynosa, 48, was behind the wheel of a Dodge Dually pickup when the collision occurred. Land said there was major front end damage to both vehicles.
