Chicago, IL : Antioch man critical after crash on February, Sunday 25th 2018

A 51-year-old Antioch man was in critical condition Sunday after he was ejected from his vehicle during a crash Saturday in unincorporated Antioch.

According to a news release, the man was driving a 1962 Chevrolet Corvette westbound on Grass Lake Road, west of Bluff Lake Road, when the vehicle left the roadway near a curve and came to rest in a ditch.

Lake County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the scene at about 8:04 p.m. and transported the man to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.

The crash remains under investigation by the Lake County sheriff’s office’s Technical Crash Investigations Unit.
