St. Cloud, MN : Sauk Rapids man hurt in Becker collision on Sunday afternoon, August 14, 2016
A Sauk Rapids man has received non life-threatening injuries after his motorcycle collided with a pickup Sunday afternoon.
The Minnesota State Patrol said Jerome Carlson, 54, of Sauk Rapids, was heading west on U.S. Highway 10 near Edgewood Street on his 2015 Harley Davidson Road Glide just before 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
Troopers said a 2008 Ford F150 driven by Cory Buettgen, 29, of Elk River, was heading east on Highway 10 and preparing to turn left onto Edgewood Street.
Buettgen turned out in front of Carlson, according to the report. Carlson's motorcycle collided with the truck.
Buettgen and his passenger, 29-year-old Dane Grunerud of Minnetonka, were not injured in the collision.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Becker Police Department and the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office.
