Raynham, MA : Middleboro man injured after a motorcycle crash on Route 44 in Raynham on Sunday afternoon, July 31, 2016

A 22-year-old Middleboro man was flown to Rhode Island Hospital after a motorcycle crash on Route 44 in Raynham late Sunday afternoon, officials said.

The unidentified man's injuries were deemed serious but not life-threatening, said Raynham Fire Chief James Januse.

The crash occurred shortly after 4 p.m. Sunday in front of Shaw's Plaza on Route 44, where the motorcycle collided with another vehicle, officials said. A helicopter landed at the Walmart on Paramount Drive.

Details on the crash were not immediately available. It was also unclear whether any charges or citations would be issued following the crash.

Raynham fire and police responded to the scene.
