ALDRICH, MN : Single-vehicle crash leaves driver dead in Central Minnesota on Thursday, 6th December 2018

A man was found dead after being ejected from a vehicle Thursday morning, Dec. 6, about 10 miles north of Aldrich.The Wadena County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a motor vehicle crash at 7:37 a.m. near the intersection of County Road 26 and 182nd Street in Bullard Township. County Road 26 curves from the west to the north at that location.Upon the arrival of emergency personnel, a single vehicle and lone occupant were found on scene. The adult male driver, who was found ejected from the vehicle, was pronounced dead on scene, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

Authorities have not released the victim’s name pending the notification of family.

The victim was transported to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office.

Aldrich is about 10 miles southeast of Wadena.
